(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The University of Central Missouri Mules football team announced its 2012 recruiting class today. The list includes 12 high school students and one transfer that will wear the cardinal and black next season.

Mules pull away for 76-61 win over Emporia State
 
(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The Central Missouri Mules pulled away in the second half for a 76-61 win over Emporia State on Wednesday night at the UCM Multipurpose Building. The win extends the Mules’ winning streak to eight games, the longest streak since UCM won 12 straight during the 2009-10 season.

The Chicago Bears have reached an agreement with Phil Emery to become the team’s fifth general manager in franchise history.
Emery joins the Bears after spending 14 seasons in the NFL including the last three as the Chiefs' Director of College Scouting.

The Missouri football team filled one of their non-conference holes for next season by adding Central Florida to the schedule, according to the Knights’ official website.

Frank White, out as a Royals broadcaster this winter, is joining Kansas City's independent league team as a coach.
The Kansas City T-Bones announced on Wednesday that White has been hired as a coach for the 2012 season. White was dropped as the Royals' television analyst after last season.

Our football team finished a very competitive and positive season with a loss to Cassville 35-0 last night. While the end result was not what we wanted, there were many positives that came from the opportunity.
