Truman Reenactment Program Sat. May 14

Truman Reenactment Program to be held by Windsor Historical  Society on Sat., May 14, 2:30 p.m. at the Windsor United Methodist  Church 

Kavan Stull, Historical Interpreter from Southwest Missouri, will present a  reenactment program, “Harry S Truman Returning from World War I,” for the  Windsor Historical Society on Saturday, May 14, 2:30 p.m. at the Windsor United  Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 216 S. Main St., Windsor, MO 

For his portrayal of Truman, Kavan Stull wears an original World War I uniform and bases his presentation on letters Harry S Truman wrote to his future wife,  Bess, while Truman served as captain of Battery D, 129th Field Artillery, 35th Division of American Expeditionary Forces in France during World War I.  

The public is invited, and there is no charge for admission.  

Kavan Stull, a historian and historical interpreter from Southwest Missouri near  Nevada, MO will portray Harry S Truman returning home and telling about his  experiences in Europe during World War I. Kavan Stull wears a WW I uniform  and bases his presentation on letters Harry S Truman wrote to his future wife,  Bess, while Truman was a captain of Battery D, 129th Field Artillery, 35th Division  of American Expeditionary Forces during World War I.  

Mr. Stull has given several historical speaking and reenactment programs at  different civic organizations, historical sites, and military groups, for which he has  received excellent reviews. Make plans to attend and invite your friends and  relatives to this special reenactment program about the only person from Missouri  to serve as President of the United States.
