Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is excited to announce Erica Barnhart as the new Director of Henry County. A proud graduate of Clinton High School, Erica brings a strong connection to the community, a passion for youth development, and a wealth of experience to her role. As the new director, Erica will continue to spearhead fundraising efforts, organize events, and lead the launch of a new program at Clinton Middle School.
As a mother of two, Erica is deeply committed to the role of education in shaping a child’s future. Her background in working with children, coupled with her experience in fundraising, event planning, and community relations, positions her perfectly to lead BBBS in Henry County.
In addition to the leadership change, BBBS is proud to announce that it is undergoing a rebrand, transitioning under the umbrella of the Springfield area. Moving forward, we will operate as Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Ozarks. While our name and regional affiliation are changing, we are the same organization that has built strong relationships with local communities, schools, and families and our mission remains the same. The support of our generous donors, volunteers, and partners will continue to be integral in helping us provide life-changing mentorship opportunities for young people.
We are grateful to our board members, staff, and volunteers who have ensured a seamless transition and will continue to serve after the re-brand. With Erica Barnhart at the helm, we look forward to a bright future, continuing our commitment to matching children with caring adult mentors, empowering them to reach their full potential and transform their lives.
