
Authorities say a suspect connected to a string of recent burglaries in the Calhoun and Clinton areas has been located following a multi-jurisdictional investigation across the region.
According to officials, the individual is believed to have been involved in a broader crime spree spanning multiple counties. The case escalated into a pursuit in Bates County, where the suspect initially managed to evade law enforcement.
An extensive search effort was launched involving multiple agencies. The suspect was ultimately located in Bates County early Saturday morning.
Law enforcement officials credited strong coordination between agencies for bringing the situation to a close, including assistance from the Bates County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Authorities have not yet released additional details about charges or the suspect’s identity, but say more information is expected as the investigation continues.
