The Henry County Memory Fund Committee has announced the return of its annual Dine and Donate fundraiser, giving residents an opportunity to support local restaurants while helping individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia in Henry County.
Throughout June, participating restaurants will donate 10 percent of customers’ bills to the Henry County Memory Fund, a fund of the Truman Lake Community Foundation. Organizers say all proceeds remain in Henry County and help provide assistance to local residents facing challenges related to Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Funds raised help cover expenses such as prescription medications, durable medical equipment, respite care, transportation, housing assistance, and other needs.
The 2026 Dine and Donate schedule includes:
- Frank’s Fish Shack — Saturday, June 6, from noon to 7 p.m.
- Ben Franklin Bistro — Wednesday, June 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Mallard’s Roadhouse — Tuesday, June 16, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Donna’s Drive-In — Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Dietz Family Buffet — Monday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Committee members encourage residents to participate, noting it is a simple way to support both local businesses and a cause that directly benefits Henry County families.
