Investigation Complete, On To Prosecutor

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Thursday that it has completed the investigation into the officer-involved shooting of a Sedalia woman and turned the case over to the prosecutor.

Hannah Fizer, 25, was fatally shot by a Pettis County deputy during a traffic stop on June 13.

During the traffic stop, the deputy indicated Fizer refused to identify herself, telling the deputy she was armed with a gun and was going to shoot him, according to the Highway Patrol. No gun was found in Fizer’s car.

No body camera or dashcam video of the incident exists.
