The Henry County Memory Fund has mailed out our walker packets!  If you have attended our event in the past or have made a memorial contribution to the fund you will be receiving the packet.  If you have not had the opportunity to attend the Big Purple Party and would like to learn more about how the fund can assist, please reach out to one of our committee members for more information.  We would love to send you our information and answer any questions that you may have.

On May 4th 2024, the Henry County Memory Fund will host the 10th Annual Big Purple Party.  It will be held in Hawthorn Bank’s parking lot at Old Country Club Park with registration at 9am and ceremony at 9:30. Contributors will be on site with information and giveaways with a ceremony to honor our friends, family and loved ones struggling with or lost to Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

All money raised will be distributed locally to those with Alzheimer’s / dementia, to caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s / dementia, and to research. Funds are provided through an application process for living expenses, medication, medical equipment, respite stays and other uses.

Applications are available to anyone that needs assistance.  Please contact hcmemoryfund@gmail.com, Christa Atchison 660-525-1338 or Ranae Walrath at GVMH at 660-890-7294 for applications or questions.
