Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.
Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications.

Arrests and Reports
Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 2, 2024 through April 8, 2024

April 2, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southwest 300 Road, Schell City, for a report of stolen property. Items stolen are two red 16-foot gates. Investigation is ongoing.

April 3, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Travis Reavis at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office on a St. Clair County warrant for Passing Bad Checks. Bond is $400 cash only.

April 3, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Chadwick Boyce at the Greene County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia. Bond is $15,000 cash surety.

April 3, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southeast 900 Road, Collins, for an altered mental status. Subject was transported by ambulance to hospital for mental evaluation.

April 5, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to East 4th Street, Appleton City, for a subject with a possible warrant. Deputies arrested Amber Miner on a St. Clair County warrant for DWI-Aggravated and two counts of Driving While Revoked/Suspended. Bond is $7,500 cash surety.

April 5, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies assisted another agency on a traffic stop.

April 5, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast Private Road, Lowry City, for a report of burglary. Items stolen were Athlon Arhoes Rifle scope, black hard rifle case, 34mm rifle rings, box of Hornady 308 Win 168gr AMAX, and a bolt action rifle. Investigation is ongoing.

April 6, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southeast 1075 Road, Collins, for a report of property damage. Item damaged was a mailbox. Investigation is ongoing.

April 6, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southeast TT Highway, Osceola, for a domestic assault. Subject was issued a citation and advised they were not to be back on the property.

April 6, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southeast TT Highway, Osceola, for a subject with a possible warrant. Deputies arrested David Deaton on a St. Clair County warrant for Probation Violation-Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond is $15,000 cash only.

April 7, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to South Holly Street, Appleton City, for a subject with an altered mental status. Subject refused medical attention.

April 7, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast Private Road, Lowry City, for a report of property damage. Property damaged was a White Ford Fusion. Suspect was identified as Daniel Wilson. Deputies responded to a known location and arrested Daniel Wilson and he is charged with Property Damage and Leaving the Scene of an Accident.

April 8, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies arrested Jacob Meineker at the Lafayette County Jail on a St. Clair County warrant for Passing Bad Check. Bond is $10,000 cash surety.

April 8, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Northeast 185 Private Road, Osceola, for a report of a dog bite. Juvenile was bitten while riding his dirt bike. Dog owners quarantined the dogs for the required amount of time. Report was taken.

April 8, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to East 6th Street, Lowry City, for a domestic disturbance. Parties were separated before deputies arrived on scene. Report was taken.

April 8, 2024- St. Clair County Deputies responded to Southwest 151 Road, Roscoe, for a disturbance. After a short altercation deputies arrested Nicholas Austin for Property Damage and Assault-4th Degree.
