Missouri Dept of Transportation Maintenance Work for May 6-10 Includes Johnson and Pettis Counties

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from May 6-10. All work is weather permitting.

CLAY COUNTY

Route EE between Route H and Missouri City Rd.: full closure on Tue., May 7, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for culvert replacement work.

JACKSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 150 in Greenwood: flagging operation from Mon., May 6 through Fri., May 10, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm daily, for pavement repair work.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route FF between the Route NN/Route D junction and NE 700 Rd.: full closure on Mon., May 6 for culvert replacement work. Note: this road is also currently closed due to recent flood damage.

PETTIS COUNTY

Missouri Highway 52 between Missouri Highway 127 and Route EE: full closure from Mon., May 6 until Mon., May 13, for barrier wall repair. More details here: Planned closure of MO-52 in Pettis County for bridge barrier wall repair, May 6-13 | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org)

MO-127 between Route NN and Route D: full closure on Mon., May 6, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for culvert replacement work.

PLATTE COUNTY

Old Pike Rd. over Interstate 29: flagging operation from Mon., May 6 through Fri., May 10, from approximately 8 am until 4 pm daily for bridge deck work.

RAY COUNTY

Route C between Route M and Adkins Rd: full closure on Mon., May 6, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm, for culvert replacement work.

Route A at various locations: flagging operations from Mon., May 6 until Mon., May 10, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm daily, for patch work.

SALINE COUNTY

MO-127, Route Z, and Route EE at various locations: flagging operations from Mon., May 6 until Fri., May 10, from approximately 7 am until 4 pm daily, for patch work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
