On Saturday morning, August 24th, at 9:24 am, a vehicle driven by Carol D Teagarden,80, of Butler, Mo crossed the centerline on MO 18 at Grand River bridge and struck the vehicle driven by Rickard D Wombles, 74, of Clinton, head on. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage. Wombles sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital. Teagarden sustained serious injuries and was taken to Research Medical Center. Missouri State Highway Patrol along with Clinton Fire responded to the scene.
