The Henry County Sheriff’s Department had the honor of hosting a 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training at the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, which concludes today. Law enforcement officers and community organization members came together to learn, grow, and strengthen their skills. A special shoutout to Major Rob Hills and all the instructors for leading the way!
CIT training is all about better equipping our team to handle mental health crises with empathy, understanding, and effective intervention. This training is a critical part of our commitment to community policing and ensuring that every resident receives the care and support they need during difficult moments.
