The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation of Kansas City, the Health Forward Foundation, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, the Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City, will host their Emerging Developers Summit on Wednesday, September 4 and 5, beginning at 9:00 a.m. CDT.
The two-day summit will consist of real estate finance and development information panels featuring speakers from Federal, State, and local agencies, real estate developers, private lenders, as well as philanthropic and nonprofit organizations. The event is aimed at increasing the number of minorities participating in the real estate development profession and helping them to identify financial resources and best practices which will help them advance their redevelopment projects.
