The A.C. Fall City Wide Garage Sale dates are set for September 20 – 21. House of Joy Ministries will be at the City Park on Saturday from 3:00-
5:00 to collect donations, but may leave earlier if their trailer is full. Maps will be available at Food Fair, Fika, Powell’s True Value and Casey’s
beginning Thursday afternoon, September 19. For questions please contact Dianne Foster at 660-679-1125.
The Saturday Street Festival in AC is September 21. Activities include vendors and food from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., horses rides 11:00 a.m. – 2:00
p.m., Overload Band on the Park Stage 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. and a movie in Forest Park at 8:00 p.m.
AC Masonic Lodge #412 will have a biscuit and gravy breakfast 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 21 at the Masonic Hall, 219 E. 3 rd St. A fee
will donation will be accepted. All proceeds go toward scholarships.
AC Music Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser will be 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 21 in the AC Elementary Gym. The menu is all you can eat
pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee and juice for $10 for ages 12 and up, $5 for children 3 – 11 and children 2 and under eat free.
Golden Apples Senior Club will have a free will donation sale, September 20-21 inside the banquet room at Farmhouse Kitchen, 302 Railroad St.
West Central Missouri Community Action Agency/New Growth is sponsoring “Bingo to Help Kiddos”, a fundraiser to benefit children in our region.
Proceeds will go towards helping purchase things like birthday/Christmas gifts and essentials for children in need. The event will take place at Olde
Crow Winery in Clinton, Mo 5:30 p.m. September 20, 2024. There will be food, drinks, games, a comedian, prizes, raffles and so much more. There
is no age limit, but children will require a chaperone. There is no entry fee for the event. Some games and food may have a cost. If you are
interested in donating a prize for the games, silent auction or making a cash donation, please contact WCMCCA at 660-476-2185. They do have a
Facebook event (Bingo to Help Kiddos | Facebook) that they urge everyone to take a look at and RSVP if planning to attend
Golden Apples will have “Italian” 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 19 at Forest Park building. You are encouraged to bring a dish to go with
Italian food and stay for Bingo.
Appleton City Worship Center will be having a clothing giveaway September 21, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Growing in Grace
Community Center in Appleton City. Freewill donations will be accepted with all proceeds going to the Growing in Grace Community Center to help
them in their ministry to our community. There will be a lot of ladies clothes as well as some men’s and children’s clothes
Come to the EMH Community Block Party September 28 and help support ACHS students! Several ACHS groups will be fundraising at the Block
Party: The ACHS Football team (selling tenderloins), the ACHS After-Prom Parent Committee (selling walking tacos), ACHS Cheer (selling Andy’s
Frozen Custard), and ACHS FBLA (Build a Critter booth). Show your Bulldog pride and help these groups meet their fundraising goals!
The Ministerial Alliance of Appleton City and Immaculate Conception Church are co-hosting an informational meeting regarding Amendment 3 at
6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 3 at the Montrose Community Building. The speaker will be Deborah Sheppard, Director of the Office of Life and
Justice for KCSJ Diocese. Be an informed voter and learn about this amendment and the ramifications it will cause if passed. Thanks to the Knights
of Columbus for the use of the building. Yard signs and other materials will be available that night.
October 18 and 19, 2024 there will be a Recovery Revival in the field between Victory Assembly and Walmart in Clinton. There will be a free meal
and service each night. Friday October 18 the meal will start a 6:00 p.m. and service at 7:00 p.m. Saturday October 19 the meal will start at 4:00 p.m.

The MU Extension office in St. Clair County is offering a Barn Quilt class in Osceola 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. October 11 at the library in Osceola, 115
Chestnut St. Jocelyn Wheeler from Hickory County will be the instructor. Participants will have the opportunity to construct either a 2 ft x 2 ft design
for $45.00 or a 1 ft x 1 ft design for $25.00. The 1 ft x 1 ft board is intended for those who would like to hang their barn quilt indoors. It is not
durable enough for outdoor hanging. Register for the class at the Extension office located inside the west door of the courthouse, 655 Second Street,
