On Saturday, September 28th at 10:05 am, a vehicle driven by Shannon M Root,57, of Pleasant Hill was traveling Southbound on 5 Scott Rd. Root traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a speed limit sign and struck a tree. Root was transported to Research Medical Center in serious condition.
