Good morning! For those that are desperately waiting for fall, your time is coming next week! Take a look a picture below; by Tuesday, we will see West Central Missouri being affected by a large Low Pressure system that is ushering in much cooler air into the Midwest. We will actually begin to feel this on Sunday, as high temperatures are likely not even to hit 70 degrees. Then on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week, we have a potential to see our first frost of the year! The average first fall frost in northern and central Missouri is in the second or third week of October, so we are right on track. The Global Predictor and the LRC showed October 19th as our first possible freeze when we looked at this back in July! It will be close! So head to the store this weekend and pick up your pumpkin spice, chili fixins’ and blankets as you will likely be thrilled at the forecast for next week. Subby
