The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a Clinton man was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred late Friday night in Henry County. A 2008 Ford Taurus, driven by 39-year-old Michael F. Smith of Clinton was on Highway 13, south of NW 950th Road around 10:45 p.m., when the Ford ran off the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned, struck a fence and a utility pole.
Smith was pronounced dead at 11:05 by Henry County Coroner Dane Sisk.
Clinton Fire and Henry County EMS assisted the three Troopers on scene.
