Beavertail Solar to Send Power to Google in KC

Radford Media, has learned that Ranger Power’s, Missouri-based Beavertail Solar farm will provide power for a Google Data Center in Northland, Kansas City, according to www.datacenterdynamics.com.

Power for Google’s $1 billion data center in Kansas City will be provided via a power purchase agreement with Evergy, Ranger Power, and DESRI to add 400MW of carbon-free energy.

On Tuesday November 19th, the Henry County Commissioners signed the Chapter 100 agreement allowing tax abatement for Beavertail Solar project which is being built in western Henry County on a former coal power plant community.
