Good morning everyone! What a wacky last week of weather we have had! We have had 2.12″ of rainfall for this week, bringing us up to over 225% of average rainfall for West Central Missouri. I am hearing very good reports of yields around the area over the last 2 weeks which is encouraging. Here is an article from Missouri Farmer Today around our area; https://agupdate.com/missourifarmertoday/news/crop/some-of-the-best-ever-yields-for-west-central/article_057fe53e-9422-11ef-981c-47c8dd5cc126.html

We are expecting another storm system to move into the Midwest towards the middle of next week, right in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Total precipitation only reaching .3″ on average, but will aggravate any chances to work some ground. I have seen many over the last 2 weeks doing broadcast wheat, which is very popular here in our area. We are set to see active weather all the way through around the 9th of December, with several disturbances moving in. And yes, there are a few chances for winter precip as well. Temperatures stay near average over this period. Here is a word from the USDA Meteorologists talking about crop conditions as well as our meteogram for this week. Subby
