On November 19th at approximately 5:25 AM, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office served search warrants on two Ionia locations simultaneously with the assistance of the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office and the Mid Missouri Drug Task force.
It has taken months for our drug task force to gather enough information to make this possible. These locations have been a problem area and a blight on a peaceful neighborhood.
James Hix was arrested and charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and is a prior drug offender. Jimmy Lindsey was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Delivering/Possess a Controlled Substance In a County Jail. Todd Streb was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a child 1st Degree. Chantel Walton was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Bonds ranged from $15,000 to $50,000.
