Perry Mellendorf II, 59, of rural Clinton, Missouri, near Tightwad, died Friday afternoon, November 29, 2024, at his home.
He was born July 19, 1965, in Port Huron, Michigan, the youngest of 8 children by Perry and Ede (Laslo) Mellendorf of Port Huron, Michigan.
Perry was the life of the party. He always said, “I’m here for a good time, not a long time.” He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, gardening, cooking, boating, darts, playing pool. He was a huge Michigan sports fan. He loved spending time with people and made friends everywhere he went. Perry’s free spirit, big hugs, smile and cheer will always be remembered and cherished. He will be missed.
Survivors include 2 children, Ashley Mellendorf and Derek Mellendorf; a step-son, Branden Dillon; 3 grandchildren that will miss their Papa Dorf, Presten Taylor, Chase Mellendorf, and Garrett Ware; and 3 brothers, George, Don and Roger. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Gloria, Marylou and Donna; and a brother.
