Local Author A Special Guest at Henry County Library Storytime

The Henry County Library in Clinton is pleased to announce that local author, Linda J. Wilson, will be a special guest at Storytime on Tuesday, December 17th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Linda will read her children’s book, Giggletown, which relays the story of a young girl’s adventure “to a place that is so much fun to visit that your insides will tickle!” and features illustrations by Linda’s great-grandson, Bentley A. Elliott.

Linda J. Wilson is a lifelong resident of Clinton, Missouri, and is a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 1963. She was married to her husband, Bob, for 55 years, and they raised children Dianna and Daniel in the community. Linda also has 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was previously employed at First National Bank and Kenton Place for many years each. Her hobbies include poetry, gardening, and shopping flea markets for treasures to repurpose.

Please join the library in welcoming Linda to Storytime. Copies of Giggletown will be available for purchase for $15.95 each (cash/check only) in the library gallery from 10:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on the 17th. Additionally, she will have copies of her previous works, The Birth of Truman Lake and Daily Thoughts for Neat Kids, available for $5.00 each.
