Wayne Eugene Younts Jr

Wayne Eugene Younts Jr., 76, of Windsor, Missouri, formerly of Phillipsburg, Kansas, died Tuesday evening, December 17, 2024, at his home.

He was born February 1, 1948, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Wayne Eugene Younts Sr. and Joan (Smith) Younts. On September 22, 2017, he married Brenda Jean Wells at the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg, Ks., and she survives of the home.

Wayne served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969. He worked in the airline manufacturing industry in Wichita for many years. He was also a painter and handyman. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, and was an avid flower gardener. He was a longtime Denver Broncos fan but had recently developed an appreciation for the Kansas City Chiefs. He also liked to travel, especially to Branson. He was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church. He was a kind and sweet man who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife Brenda, survivors include 4 children Emily Robertson, Wichita, Ks., Melinda Sartin, Blue Springs, Mo., Brandy King, Oak Grove, Mo., and James (Leann) Aaron, Buckner, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a step-father, Buford Rains. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Cassie; a daughter, Danielle Brown; a grandson Mark William Aaron; and a great-grandson, Luca Gabriel Moyer.

Interment will be held at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Mo. Arrangements are under the direction of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. Condolences may be left online at www.hadleyfuneralhome.com.
