A Look Ahead With The LRC

Wow, after a winter storm like we had yesterday, I believe everyone is hoping for a return of warm air and sunshine! Taking a look at the LRC (Lezak’s Re-occurring Cycle), March and April is looking warm and wet! Let’s take a look at the precipitation table for West Central Missouri below as well as the temperature table for both months;

According to the LRC, March 6th-8th we have a big system that will affect our area, bringing with it buckets of moisture. Maybe a start of severe storm season? I am watching this date closely. We can also see that the 22nd and the 29th shows very wet as well, so those are key dates for possible severe weather. Then we move to April. Looks like a big system also in the works for around April 15th through April 18th. After a cool start of March, it looks to really warm up nicely in West Central Missouri according to the table. Will our last frost be after the first few days of March????? Many things to look forward to, so don’t get too bummed out with the snow and freezing temperatures. Better times are ahead! Subby
