Good morning everyone! Great weather coming in for the next few days with highs in the 60s and dry! A weak cold front will be coming in on Wednesday night that will cool us down a bit but then our eyes shift over to a cut-off low that will be rolling across the Central US (just like it did 2 other cycles of the LRC!!). Depending on where this ends up will determine what impacts it will cause us here in WCMO. A cut-off low “isolates” itself and breaks away from the steering winds called the jet stream. It is being only propelled by it’s own fluid centripetal force and outside influences like other storm systems that will “push” it to the east. We could see an early start to strong storms or even another shot of winter, or BOTH! It is something that I am keeping very close eye on as we go through next week. Don’t forget that we are hosting a Storm Spotter’s Certification Class at the Benson Center Tuesday night at 6:30pm. Hope to see ya there! Subby
