Morning Pursuit Ends with Two Arrested in the Area of Calhoun

At approximately 9:30 AM this morning (Thursday), Captain Bilbruck with the Henry County Sheriffs Department initiated a vehicle pursuit in the Calhoun area. The pursuit ended in the 800 block of NE 701, just south of Calhoun, where the suspect vehicle crashed into a creek. Two individuals fled from the scene on foot.

At 12:15 PM, Henry County deputies successfully tracked and apprehended one suspect inside a residence within the city limits of Calhoun. The second individual remained at large but posed no threat to the community.

Then at 2:45PM The Henry County Sheriff’s Office announced that both individuals involved in the vehicle pursuit and subsequent foot chase were in custody.

This successful resolution was made possible through the outstanding teamwork of the Sheriffs deputies, the Clinton Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and all assisting agencies.
