
Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week of February 21, 2025, to February 27, 2025:
- February 21, 2025 – Warrant: Sergeant Richardson arrested Phillip Pierce, age 46, of Warsaw at the courthouse for a Henry County no-bond warrant for leaving the scene of an accident.
- February 22, 2025 – Domestic Assault: Deputy Stevens conducted a follow-up investigation in the rural Clinton area, resulting in the arrest of Matthew Ribby, age 36, of Clinton, for domestic assault (3rd degree). Ribby was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold, and a warrant was issued for the offense.
- February 22, 2025 – Driving While Intoxicated: Deputy Douglas conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area, resulting in the arrest of Tad Knecht, age 48, of Calhoun, for driving while intoxicated.
- February 24, 2025 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked: Deputy Stevens conducted a traffic stop in the rural Deepwater area, resulting in the arrest of Connie Fenske, age 45, of Clinton, for driving while suspended/revoked.
- February 24, 2025 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked: Deputy Douglas conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area, resulting in the arrest of Destini Cranfill, age 35, of Windsor, for driving while suspended/revoked.
- February 24, 2025 – Warrant: Deputy England responded to the Johnson County line and took custody of Timothy Hopkins, age 40, of Windsor, on a Henry County warrant for stealing.
- February 26, 2025 – Resisting Arrest: Sergeant Baker and Deputy Murphy conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area, resulting in the arrest of Ronnie Hankins, age 66, of Windsor. Hankins was placed on a 24-hour investigative hold for resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
- February 27, 2025 – Resisting Arrest by Fleeing: Captain Bilbruck initiated a traffic stop, and the vehicle occupants failed to yield to emergency equipment. The subjects crashed into a creek and fled on foot. With the assistance of several Henry County deputies, the MSHP, and Clinton PD, William Moon, age 51, of Calhoun, was arrested for resisting arrest by fleeing. William Emmet Moon, age 34, of Calhoun, was arrested for receiving stolen property, resisting arrest, and facing several traffic charges.
- February 27, 2025 – Possession of a Controlled Substance: Captain Bilbruck initiated a traffic stop in the Windsor area, resulting in the arrest of Justin Lindsey, age 32, of Windsor, for driving without a license and possession of a controlled substance.
- February 27, 2025 – Warrant: Sergeant Logan and Sheriff Brown conducted a follow up within the City of Calhoun and arrested Joshua Young, age 40, of Calhoun, on a Cass County warrant failing to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Note: All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are only allegations at this time.
