Kathy Jane Williams

Kathy Jane Williams, 67, of Warrensburg, Missouri, formerly of Windsor, Mo., died Sunday, April 27, 2025, at her home in Warrensburg, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 5, 1957, in Sycamore, Illinois, the daughter of Lloyd Raymond Smith and Delores Raelene (Collins) Smith. On May 8, 1976, she married Robert Lee Williams in Windsor, Mo., and he survives of the home.

Kathy worked for a short time at Windsor Healthcare and Fern’s Care Center, but she was first and foremost a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a good cook and enjoyed gardening and flowers, with her favorites being yellow snapdragons. Taking drives, hunting for mushrooms, and working puzzles were simple pleasures she enjoyed. Family always came first for Kathy, and she loved her role as “Grandma” to her granddaughters Kiley and Kacey and “Grammie” to her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Harper, Willoh, and Hayzelynn.

In addition to her husband Robert, survivors include a daughter, Katie Chamberlain (Craig), Warrensburg, Mo.; 2 granddaughters, Kiley Limback (Nick), Alma, Mo., and Kacey Bohlen (Ethan), Warrensburg, Mo.; 4 great-grandchildren, Hunter Limback and Harper, Willoh, and Hayzelynn Bohlen; a brother, Richard Dennis Collins, Windsor, Mo.; her mother-in-law, Mary Stogsdill, Monett, Mo.; 2 sisters-in-law, Carolyn Griesel (Danny), Windsor, Mo., and Barbara Hankins (Ross), Monett, Mo.; and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Morris.
