Marvin Ray Gregory

Marvin Ray Gregory, 71, of Windsor, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Windsor Healthcare and Rehabilitation.

Marvin was born October 17, 1953 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Glen Wallace and Irma Ann (Clinkenbeard) Gregory.

Marvin attended Lafayette C-1 schools in Higginsville. He was a musician and sang and played guitar for several bands in the area. He worked for a time as a driver for Wilder RV delivering RVs and campers. He also worked at Central Missouri State University (now UCM) as a custodian. Marvin was an “original ol’ hippie” and found joy in being outdoors fishing and camping. He enjoyed traveling and riding his motorcycle.

Marvin is survived by 3 sisters, Lois Blankenship, Windsor, Mo., Shirley Register, Higginsville, Mo., and Donna Lockhart, Higginsville, Mo.; an aunt, Jean Harms, Sedalia, Mo.; and uncle, Earl Spencer Clinkenbeard, Aurora, Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Wayne and Roy Gregory.

Private Burial will take place at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. Contributions in Marvin’s memory may be made to the Windsor Dog Pound (checks payable to Windsor Chamber of Commerce) can be left in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left online at www.hadleyfuneralhome.com.
