Terry A. “Jerry” Brewington, 70, of Windsor, Missouri, died late Tuesday night, June 3, 2025, at his home.
He was born October 21, 1954, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, the son of Oren David “O.D.” and Ruby Juanita (Todd) Brewington. On September 4, 1976, he married Kathy Nell Laster in Windsor and she survives of the home.
After graduating from high school, Jerry served in the United States Marine Corp and the United States Army. He drove a truck for many years with Allied, retiring in 2018. He enjoyed fishing, collecting metal for scraping, going junking with his granddaughter Madison, and spending time with family.
In addition to his wife Kathy, survivors include a son, Christopher Brewington (Tonja), Gresham, Oregon; a daughter, Jennifer Summitt (Mark), Warrensburg, Mo.; a grandson, Caden Brewington, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; a granddaughter, Madison Calabrese, Warrensburg, Mo.; 2 brothers, Lloyd Brewington (Amy), Sedalia, Mo., and Michael Brewington (Linda), Marshall, Mo.; a brother-in-law, Danny Laster (Debbie), Kentucky; and several nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James David Brewington.
Graveside memorial services with Military Honors will be held 11:30 a.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends before the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the Laurel Oak Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
