Happy Fathers Day to all the dads and father figures out there! This day in weather history includes a tragic event in WCMO. At least four intense tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. Per Grazulis, three were estimated to have been violent. An estimated F5 swept away homes near Adrian and Creighton, killing 5. To the west, an F4 killed 11 along the KS/MO border. The tornado in Missouri, Merwin, Creighton and Drexel were the most severely damaged.
