Marise Lenora (Honeyball) Sallee, 91, of Verona, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was born January 21, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Charles A. Honeyball and Lenora (Banks) Honeyball.
At the age of 4, her mother and two brothers moved to Independence, MO. On February 6, 1953, she married Wayne M. Sallee of Independence, MO. They enjoyed 66 years together. He preceded her in death in 2018.
Marise had many hobbies and talents. She loved traveling and camping. She was an artist, seamstress, talented cook, cake decorator and baker (her pies were well known).
Surviving are her daughters, Laura D. Sallee of Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Linda M. Flaherty (Jim), Clinton, MO; two grandsons, Dalton J. Flaherty (Kaysha), Cassville, MO and Ethan J. Flaherty, Harrisonville, MO; three great-grandchildren, Luci Flaherty, Dalton Flaherty, Jr., and Evie Flaherty; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Marla R. Flaherty; and two brothers, Forest B. Honeyball and Max A. Honeyball.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Good Samaritan Assisted Living in Verona, MO, where Marise received the loving care from the family that owns and manages this wonderful home.
