The Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce continues its commitment to promoting local businesses, community development, and economic opportunity with several updates and announcements from the past week.

On July 11, Chamber members gathered for a ribbon cutting at Hedgewood Estates, celebrating new residential development opportunities. Located just off Highway 7 East and AA Highway, Hedgewood Estates offers spacious acreage ideal for building dream homes. For more information, contact 660-596-5445 or email hedgewoodestates@gmail.com.

In another celebration, SERC Physical Therapy marked its 15th anniversary serving the Clinton community. Located at 109 W. Franklin St., the clinic has been a trusted provider of rehabilitation services. Appointments can be made by calling 660-383-1284.

The Chamber also announced a significant opportunity: they are currently accepting applications for the position of Economic Development Director. The current director plans to retire in early October after more than six years of service. Interested candidates can learn more by visiting the Chamber’s website at clintonmo.com or their Facebook page.

The Chamber’s social media spotlight continues with the “Featured with the GCACC” series. Recent featured businesses include Dody Legacy Group, Price Cutter of Clinton, Powell Meat Co, Door of Hope, Dull Law, Powell Auto Center, Poague, Wall, Cox & Adams, Eberting Chiropractic, Edward Jones Financial Services, and PLZ Corporation.

In a fun new addition, Clinton-themed magnets are now available at the Chamber office for just $5. They make great souvenirs, gifts, or additions to local school projects.

The Chamber also reminds businesses and job seekers that job openings can be posted on the Chamber’s Facebook page. Listings from Chamber members are posted free of charge, while non-member listings are available for a small fee. Contact david@clintonmo.com or joyce@clintonmo.com for details.

Need a place to meet? The Chamber’s conference room at 200 S. Main St. is available for use. It includes a large table, a big screen TV, internet, kitchen appliances, and more. The space is free for Chamber members and available to non-members for a fee.

Lastly, nominations are open for the 2025 Ag Person of the Year, recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to agriculture in the Clinton area. The award will be presented at the Ag Appreciation Dinner and Auction on August 18 at the Benson Center. Nomination forms are due by Monday, August 4.
