A major milestone has been reached in the City of Sedalia’s efforts to modernize critical public infrastructure. Nabholz, the City’s Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), has officially released bid documents for three long-anticipated projects: a new Fire Station Station, a dedicated Fire Training Center, and a new Bowling Alley facility.
These projects have been years in the making and reflect the City’s strategic investment in public safety, emergency preparedness, and community recreation.
The New Fire Station Headquarters will be designed to meet the needs of a growing city, with space to support modern equipment, improved response times, and safer working conditions for firefighters.
The Fire Training Center will provide a controlled, purpose-built environment for Sedalia’s first responders to train under realistic conditions, improving readiness and reducing reliance on costly out-of-town facilities.
A long-requested recreational amenity that will provide a fresh destination for residents of all ages to enjoy, while contributing to local quality of life and tourism.
The release of bid documents marks the formal beginning of contractor engagement. Interested parties can now access plans, timelines, and submission requirements through the project portal:
