
Depot Taco Salad Lunch – August 6
Enjoy a delicious taco salad lunch at the historic MKT Railroad Depot on Wednesday, August 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For just $10, you’ll get a taco salad with all the toppings, a drink, and a selection of homemade cakes. Dine in or carry out is available. Proceeds benefit the Appleton City Museum and support maintenance of the Depot, the Historic W.H. Appleton Library, Moore School, and Museum.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast – August 9
All men in the community are invited to the monthly Men’s Fellowship Breakfast at the Appleton City Church of God on Saturday, August 9 at 7:00 a.m. Enjoy great food and fellowship, with a short devotional shared by Chad Pollard.
Knights of Columbus Breakfast – August 10
Treat your family to a hearty breakfast at the Montrose Knights of Columbus Hall on Sunday, August 10 from 8:30–10:00 a.m. The menu includes pancakes and sausage, with a freewill donation appreciated.
Meet Me on Main – August 13
The next Second Wednesday “Meet Me On Main” Shop and Stroll will take place on Wednesday, August 13 from 4:00–7:00 p.m. Celebrate Jina’s Junque’s 2nd Anniversary and explore local businesses including 3 Wishes, 4th Street Fika, the AC Library, Cork & Keg, A.C. T.N.R., and more. The Growing in Grace Community Center will be serving homemade cinnamon rolls, soft-serve ice cream, and slushies.
Kid’s Fun Day – August 16
Bring the kids for an afternoon of fun at the Growing in Grace Community Center on Saturday, August 16 from 3:00–6:00 p.m. Enjoy games, a balloon twister, hot dogs, chips, cotton candy, popcorn, and slushies.
ACHS Sports Parent Meeting – August 8
Parents of ACHS students interested in softball (grades 9–12) or cross country (grades 6–12) should attend a parent meeting on Thursday, August 8 at 5:00 p.m. at Montrose School. These sports are part of a co-op hosted by the Montrose School District.
Appleton City Kids Day – August 23
Join the fun at Forest Park on Saturday, August 23 from 12:00–8:00 p.m. for Appleton City Kids Day. Activities include water slides, a bounce house, carnival games, pony rides, a K-9 demonstration, and plenty of food and treats for purchase. All ages welcome!

Appleton City Carousel Open Through Labor Day

Appleton City Museum – Open Fridays
