
The Clinton Public Works Committee will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, August 12, at 7:00 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 105 E. Ohio Street.
Committee members Roger House, Cameron Jackson, and Rob Hills will be joined by city staff, contract staff, and Mayor Carla Moberly to review a full agenda covering community development, planning, utilities, parks, and streets.
Under Community Development, members will review the July building report.
The Planning Commission will present two recommendations for approval:

A request from James and Amanda Long, Matt and Jen Petry, and David and Carrie Harrod to vacate an undeveloped portion of West Harris Street within the Titus Subdivision. The Planning Commission voted 5-0 in favor, with four members absent.

A request from James Long to replat several lots in the Titus Subdivision into a new subdivision named “Long’s Prairie.” The replat also received a 5-0 recommendation for approval.
In Wastewater updates, the committee will discuss RAS/WAS pumps, rotors, and the Stoneridge RIG project, including the formation of a sewer district and the monthly report from Garver Engineering.
The Parks and Recreation agenda includes a request from Pediatric Place to install communication boards at Kids’ World and Artesian Park, the removal of certain trees in Artesian Park, and the declaration of surplus property, including a Genie one-man lift and a Noble floor machine.
In Street Department business, members will hear results from the IMS street analysis.
