Henry County Sheriff’s Office Weekly Arrest and Incident Report

Sheriff Aaron Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:

  • August 1, 2025 – Warrant:
    Deputy England conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of Taylor Deelite, age 26, of Deepwater, for a Douglas County traffic warrant.
  • August 1, 2025 – Driving Under the Influence:
    Deputy Douglas conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Amanda Fitzgerald, age 39, of Windsor, for driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of a weapon.
  • August 1, 2025 – Warrant:
    Captain Bilbruck conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Levi Strong, age 26, of Windsor, for four Johnson County traffic warrants and one Platte County traffic warrant.
  • August 1, 2025 – Domestic Assault 2nd Degree:
    Deputy Chaney and Deputy McQueen conducted a follow-up investigation in the Calhoun area that resulted in the arrest of Michelle Richey, age 35, of Calhoun, on a 24-hour investigative hold for Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree. On the same day, the Henry County Prosecutor’s Office filed formal charges, and the court issued a warrant for the Class D Felony of Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree, with a $15,000.00 cash-only bond.
  • August 4, 2025 – Driving Under the Influence:
    Deputy Stevens conducted a traffic stop in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Craig Carpenter, age 56, of Warsaw, for driving under the influence.
  • August 4, 2025 – Warrant:
    Sergeant Richardson arrested Curtis Leiber, age 41, of Clinton, at the courthouse for a Jackson County no-bond felony warrant for Property Damage – 1st Degree.
  • August 4, 2025 – Warrant:
    Sergeant Logan conducted a follow-up investigation in the Garland area that resulted in the arrest of Eric Bradbury, age 56, of Clinton, for a Henry County warrant for traffic offenses.
  • August 4, 2025 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
    Deputy Caldwell and Deputy Evans conducted a traffic stop in the Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of David Morris, age 47, of Clinton, for driving while suspended or revoked.
  • August 6, 2025 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
    Deputy Caldwell and Deputy Evans conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Zelda Dodson, age 42, of Windsor, for driving while suspended or revoked.
  • August 6, 2025 – Warrant:
    Deputy Stevens conducted a traffic stop in the rural Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Russell Morris, age 26, of Appleton City, for a Henry County failure-to-appear warrant for resisting arrest.
  • August 6, 2025 – Driving While Suspended/Revoked:
    Deputy Caldwell and Deputy Evans conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of Christopher McCalister, age 44, of Windsor, for driving while suspended or revoked.
  • August 6, 2025 – Domestic Assault 3rd Degree:
    Sergeant Brandt and Deputy Harms conducted an agency assist in the Urich area that resulted in the arrest of Lisa Sevy, age 52, of Creighton, on a 24-hour investigative hold for Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree. Custody of Sevy was transferred to Cass County without incident.
  • August 7, 2025 – Warrant:
    Sergeant Brandt and Deputy Harms arrested Shawn Emberry, age 47, of Clinton, at the courthouse on a Henry County warrant for probation violation, with the original charge of Rape – 2nd Degree.
  • August 9, 2025 – Warrant:
    Deputy Saulters arrested Karlene Waage, age 40, of Clinton, at the courthouse on a Henry County probation violation warrant for the original charge of Domestic Assault – 3rd Degree.

All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
