According to the Clinton Police Department, on 08/13/25 at 0634 hours Clinton Police Department Officers were dispatched to 404 South Main Street in Clinton Missouri. The reporting party advised dispatch she shot her husband. Officers arrived on scene and found the victim, Thomas Couch, with an apparent gunshot wound. Couch was pronounced dead on scene. Investigators with the Clinton Police Department were called to the scene and processed it. The suspect in the case, Angelika Couch, was taken into custody and placed on a 24-hour hold. A warrant was later issued for Angelika Couch for 1st Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action. There was no bond set on the warrants. Follow-up investigations are currently being conducted in the matter.
