Project Connect is a free, one-day event designed to connect community members with essential health services, support programs and critical resources.

Hosted by CHART, Compass Health Network, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare and the Pediatric Place Family First Initiative, and sponsored by ToRCHLink funding, the event will take place Thursday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Benson Convention Center, 1008 E. Sedalia Ave., Clinton. It will feature more than 50 vendors on site.

Project Connect aims to break down barriers to care by offering a wide range of services in one convenient location, including dental screenings and extractions, haircuts, health and mental health screenings, food stamp assistance, free legal aid, Medicaid enrollment and renewals, substance use disorder information, veterans’ services, vouchers for driver’s licenses, birth and death certificates, workforce development resources, unemployment services and more. Project Connect allows individuals and families to access multiple services in one place — at no cost, with no appointments and no insurance required.

A free lunch will be provided to all attendees from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To ensure accessibility, free transportation is available. If you are inside the Clinton city limits, call 660.890.8697. If you are in Benton or St. Clair counties, call 417.283.7991. Please call at least 48 hours in advance to schedule a ride.

“Project Connect is about more than just offering services. It is about restoring hope, dignity and connection,” said Tara Dull, Chief Compliance Officer/Executive Director of Compliance. “We know that many in our community face complex challenges, and it can be hard to know where to turn. This event is designed to meet people where they are, with no barriers and no judgment, just support, compassion and the resources they need to move forward. What makes this truly impactful is the partnership behind it. We are incredibly grateful to work alongside dedicated organizations like CHART, Compass Health Network and The Pediatric Place Family First Initiative. Their collaboration and shared commitment make Project Connect possible, and together, we are building something that makes a real and lasting difference in people’s lives.”
