The Windsor Senior Center will close its physical location effective October17, 2025, but vital services for older adults in Windsor will continue without interruption. Care Connection for Aging Services remains committed to providing essential programs, including home-delivered meals and other senior support services.
“We understand that the closure of the Windsor Senior Center is disappointing, but participation at the physical location has dropped significantly,” said Chris McCune, Regional Service Director. “Closing allows us to invest in the programs many older adults rely on, such as home-delivered meals and care management services. We’re focused on meeting the needs of older adults in Henry County in the most sustainable and meaningful way. Importantly, all funds raised and held by the Windsor Senior Center will remain dedicated to serving older adults in the Windsor community.”
Since the beginning of the year, nearly 3,300 meals have been delivered to homebound seniors, a number that reflects growing community need. Care Connection, which receives approximately one-third of its funding from local donors, ensures that every dollar raised in Henry County stays in the county to serve its residents.
“This closure is not an end to our programs or presence,” McCune emphasized. “Our Clinton Senior Center remains open and committed to serving all older adults in Henry County.”
