Jewell Anne Sebeniecher

Jewell Anne Sebeniecher, 79, of Windsor, Missouri, died Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Mo.

She was born July 24, 1946, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of James Wesley Burns and Elizabeth Anne (Caldwell) Burns. She graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City and on May 21, 1966, she married Richard Allen Sebeniecher. A career for Richard with the United States Air Force took their family to Arizona, Alaska, South Dakota and numerous other locations in the United States and overseas. They lived several years in Okinawa in the Islands of Japan. While in Okinawa, she worked as a teacher’s aid for the Department of Defense School System. She continued her work in the classroom in the Glendale School District while living in Glendale, Arizona. She loved to camp and spend time in the RV. She also enjoyed fishing and her many canine and feline pets she had over the years.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; grandson, Jonathan Mussman (Jasmine), San Diego, California; a great-granddaughter, Jenelle Mussman; 2 nephews, Christopher Burns and James Burns; and several extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammy Mussman, and a brother, Joseph Wesley Burns.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor. A time of sharing will be held at 3:00 p.m. during the visitation. Burial will take place at a later date in Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence, Mo. Condolences may be left online at www.hadleyfuneralhome.com.
