As the Clinton Cardinals prepare for the first Friday Night Lights of the school year, the Clinton School District has outlined important expectations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all fans at Cardinal Stadium.

Students in 5th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult, age 18 or older, and are required to sit with that adult throughout the game. Middle school students not seated with a parent or guardian must remain in the designated CMS student section on the east side of the bleachers. Similarly, high school students without a parent or guardian are expected to sit in the CHS student section on the west side of the bleachers.

To maintain safety, students will not be allowed to bring balls of any type into the stadium. They are also expected to remain seated during the game unless visiting the restroom or concession stand. Students will not be permitted on the track, under the bleachers, or on the visitor’s side of the stadium.

District officials said these guidelines are in place to help foster a family-friendly atmosphere while cheering on the Cardinals. “We appreciate the support of our families in helping provide a safe and positive game-day experience,” the district shared.
