
A two-vehicle crash on Missouri Highway 13, just north of Northwest 550 Road, left one man seriously injured Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred when a northbound 2014 Toyota Camry, driven by a 36-year-old man from Holden, was stopped in the northbound lane. A 2019 Harley Davidson Road Glide, also traveling northbound, struck the rear of the Camry.
The motorcycle rider, a 31-year-old man from Whiteman Air Force Base, sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was transported by Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton for treatment. Troopers noted he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
Both vehicles suffered extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Clinton Wrecker Service.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Clinton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
