Verna Moreland, age 97, of Clinton, Missouri passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri after a brief illness. A “Story of her Life” celebration will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the Vansant-Mills Chapel in Clinton followed by a time of fellowship with family and friends. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Englewood Cemetery in Clinton next to her husband. Memorial contributions can be made to the Clinton Community of Christ Church (108 Pawnee Clinton, MO) and may be left in care of the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
