On Tuesday night at the Elks Club here in Clinton, Mo, Henry County Emergency Management was awarded a $3500 grant by the Truman Lake Community Foundation. Truman Lake Community Foundation is a trusted resource for philanthropy serving Henry County and the Truman Lake region.

Since their founding on May 15, 2000, Truman Lake Community Foundation has distributed more than $6.6 million in grants to the community. They now hold assets totaling $13,895,896 as of June 30, 2024.

We are excited to be awarded this grant to help continue our project of getting no-cost weather radios into the hands of our community. We will have additional information on how you can obtain a free Midland Weather Radio in the very near future.
