Henry County Sheriff’s Office Releases Weekly Arrest and Incident Report: October 17–23, 2025

Henry County Sheriff Aaron N. Brown has released the weekly arrest and incident report for the period of October 17 through October 23, 2025. The report details a range of law enforcement activities across the county, including arrests, investigations, and public safety responses handled by deputies during the week.

Sheriff Aaron N. Brown reports the following arrests and incidents for the week:

  • October 17, 2025 – Warrant:
    Sergeant Brandt conducted a traffic stop in the Windsor area that resulted in the arrest of John Jones, age 52, of Clinton, for a Henry County felony warrant for Burglary 2nd Degree.
  • October 21, 2025 – Warrant:
    Sergeant Richardson arrested Jamie Waibel, age 53, of Windsor, at the courthouse for a Henry County felony no-bond warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
  • October 21, 2025 – Assault 2nd Degree:
    Sergeant Brandt conducted a follow-up assault investigation at the Sheriff’s Office and arrested William Moon, age 51, of Calhoun, for Assault 3rd Degree.
  • October 21, 2025 – Unlawful Use of a Weapon:
    Deputy Moree conducted a traffic stop in the Clinton area that resulted in the arrest of Donna McCurdy, age 57, of Clinton, for driving without a license.
  • October 22, 2025 – Probation Violation:
    Detective Baker arrested Dean Rufenacht, age 71, of Deepwater, at the courthouse for a probation violation.
  • October 23, 2025 – Trespassing 1st Degree:
    Deputy Stevens conducted a follow-up investigation in the Blairstown area that led to the arrest of Thomas Hass, age 43, of Blairstown, for Trespassing 1st Degree.

All individuals arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The above arrests are allegations at this time.
