Clinton, MO – On Tuesday, October 21 2025, Seeds of Faith Preschool in Clinton, MO welcomed State Representative Roger Reedy (R-57) and Representative Kalberloh (R-126) for a site visit. Led by Director Amber Hansen, a Kids Win Missouri Early Care and Education Fellow, the visit included a center tour, classroom observations, and direct engagement with teachers.

“We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to welcome Representatives Kalberloh and Reedy into our center and share the amazing work happening here every day,” said Hansen. “We take pride in fostering an environment that supports healthy child development and nurtures the social-emotional skills children need well beyond their educational journey. By visiting, we hope that the Legislators see firsthand why early education is a powerful, lasting investment. With programs like Child Care Works, not only can we stabilize the workforce – they also help programs like Seeds of Faith grow and thrive.”

Representatives Kalberloh and Reedy participated in a candid conversation about the challenges facing early care and education, gaining insight into how policy decisions impact providers, educators, and families every day.

After touring the Clinton center and taking time to engage with students, Representatives Kalberloh and Reedy were complimentary of the experience. Rep Reedy encouraged Hansen to “keep up the good work…it is amazing that they have this opportunity to be in this environment.” Rep Kalberloh echoed those sentiments, “It’s obvious that you help the kids, but it’s also a piece of mind for the parents that they don’t have to worry. They know’re going somewhere good so that’s a blessing to them and in the community.”

Kids Win Missouri, a statewide coalition advocating for the well-being of children and families, works with providers throughout the state to host site visits with legislators when the legislature is in recess.

“The legislative site visits are a great opportunity for child care providers and teachers to share their joys and challenges. The legislators have an opportunity to see first hand how recent investments in child care and early education are impacting ECE programs in their district while also learning how continued investments are crucial to the success of our youngest learners, their families, and our communities,” said Robyn Schelp, Director of Policy & Advocacy, Kids Win Missouri.
