
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office released this past Friday, its October activity review, highlighting a busy month of law enforcement and community operations across the county.
Henry County, home to approximately 22,100 residents and spanning 702 square miles of land with 30.1 square miles of water, saw a total of 1,354 calls for service during October. That brings the year-to-date total (January through October) to 14,039 calls for service.
Deputies generated 132 offense reports in October, contributing to 1,241 reports so far in 2025. Thirty-four arrests were made last month, adding to a year-to-date total of 335 arrests.
Traffic enforcement remained steady, with 268 traffic stops conducted in October and a cumulative 2,542 traffic stops for the year.
The Henry County Courthouse also saw high public activity, welcoming over 3,500 visitors during the month. Inside the Detention Center, the average daily inmate population was 99, with a facility capacity of 119 inmates. The Sheriff’s Office reported 77 bookings throughout October.
