
Clinton, MO. – (Nov. 10, 2025) – Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has named Deborah Gash as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO).
With more than 25 years of experience leading digital transformation and health information technology strategy, Gash is a nationally recognized leader in healthcare innovation and IT.
As CIO, Gash will oversee all aspects of information technology and telecommunications systems and serve as the HIPAA Security Officer. She will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with strategic objectives, improving patient care and experience, enhancing service quality, driving operational efficiency and supporting future growth.
Before joining GVMH, Gash served as Interim Chief Information Officer with Korn Ferry in Chicago, IL, where she managed all aspects of information technology services for healthcare provider organizations.
Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO. In that position, Gash provided vision and leadership to develop and implement innovative IT initiatives, including digital health strategies and telehealth programs, while continuing to oversee CIO responsibilities.
Gash holds an MBA from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO and a bachelor’s degree in health services management from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and holds numerous certifications, including Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS), Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE), Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO) and Certified Digital Health Executive (CDH-E).
Gash has been published and received many awards, including the ORBIE Leadership Award, KansasCityCIO; 50 Innovative Chief Digital Officers to Know, Becker’s HR and Ten Influential Women in Health IT, Fierce Health, among others.
