The Henry County Courthouse has closed for the remainder of today and will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25th, due to an odor linked to materials being used in ongoing renovation work.
Officials emphasize that there is no immediate danger to staff or the public. However, the decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure a safe and comfortable environment while crews continue their work inside the building.
County leaders say they appreciate the public’s patience and understanding as renovations move forward. Further updates will be provided as needed.
