The Henry County Courthouse will remain closed through Monday, December 1st, 2025, as officials continue to address strong odors linked to ongoing renovation work inside the building.
County leaders say the decision was made out of an abundance of caution to protect the health and comfort of staff and visitors while contractors complete work and ensure the environment is safe for the public to return.
Officials apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the community’s patience during the temporary closure. The courthouse is scheduled to reopen on Monday, December 1st.
The county also extends warm wishes to all residents for a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
